Global markets were higher overnight (US S&P 500 Index +1.0%) as Wall street continues to rally to new all-time highs.

Global markets were higher overnight (US S&P 500 Index +1.0%) as optimism over potential medical advances in the war against the covid-19 pandemic.

The stock has been moving sideways since May. Now it is at a crucial point where it is trying to break through the long-held resistance at $22.51.

CWN chart shows the stock has the primary support at $8.58. At the current level of $9.80 it appears that the stock will hold at $9.26 that is serving as the key support for now.

In terms of the week ahead, investors will be looking for guidance from the world’s Central Bankers as they meet (virtually) at the Jackson Hole symposium.  The topic this year is “Navigating the Decade Ahead: Implications for Monetary Policy”.
