Technical Summary: Considering a tough retail environment the stock of BHP has performed reasonably well over the last 5 years. This performance has largely continued on the one year chart. Due to its slow moving nature it is not necessarily a stock that is buyable on a breakout as when the stock has overextended it has usually pulled back soon after. The stock therefore might be a better play on pullbacks or dips in the stock price. It could be argued therefore that the recent dip in the stock price is buyable with the stock trading at around $3.40 per share. This is especially true as the stock is currently
trading at support.
