Coca-Cola Amatil Limited (CCL.ASX)

29 November 2017

Technical Summary: It has been a tough 5 years for CCL shareholders as the stock has nearly halved in value. The stock looked to be gaining momentum for the first three months of the year before the stock gapped down and closed lower on heavy selling volume. For trend followers this was an obvious signal to get out of the trade. The stock then remained locked in a downtrend until towards the end of September. During October the stock looked to be showing some strength and looked to be rounding out a bottom. This was short lived however as the stock again moved to the downside on increased selling volume. Unless you were able to assess the value of CCL and pick a bottom the stock at this juncture is not buyable. Investors should remain cautious for a resumption of a downtrend.

Downtrend looks to resume
