Technical Summary: The five year chart of CCL is very interesting. It comprises a series of peaks in the stock followed by a short and sharp correction, then a consolidation period followed by a rally to highs before another collapse in the stock price. This can be viewed on the one year chart as well. The stock has moved strongly higher over the course of most of the year before collapsing in dramatic fashion after a disappointing fundamental update. The stock gapped down and continued selling on high volume. The question now is whether the selling will continue or if the patterns of the past will repeat itself.
